About Nat Coffee
The story began in Chin State in 2015, when Myanmar held democratic elections for the first time in 60 years. The mission of the young company founders was: "Seed the Future Generation of Coffee Entrepreneurs". Thanks to a successful crowdfunding campaign, the Nat Coffee brand was established, which to this day stands for directly traded, high-quality coffee that can be traced back to the plantations in Myanmar.
Due to the outbreak of war after the coup d'état in 2021, Nat Coffee had to close the Swiss company and is now only active locally with an export company in Myanmar. Work at the producers could no longer be continued for safety reasons. The great fear of the future, concern for physical integrity and uncertainty about the future of Myanmar overshadowed the hitherto cheerful attitude to life of Nat Coffee and its partners.
