Our commitment

We have actively supported cultural and sports projects in the Berne region for many years. Through our commitment we bring people together, promote vitality and exchanges between all ages and walks of life. In addition to our social commitment, we are also passionate about nature and the environment.

We invest today in the talents of tomorrow. Every year, 2 new apprentices start their apprenticeship with us. The training in our company is varied and exciting. During the three-year apprenticeship, we provide our apprentices with a broad range of specialist knowledge in a familiar environment. With us, they get to know the path of coffee from purchasing to sales and gain an insight into almost all areas of our company.
Boredom? Not a chance! Our apprentices get involved, try things out and learn. Today, our family business is led in the 4th generation by a modern and dynamic team. We treat each other with respect and give everyone the chance to develop his/her own strengths and to grow in all areas.

Are you looking for an apprenticeship? contact us for more information at +31 380 55 55. We look forward to hearing from you.

FAIRTRADE Max Havelaar

Our Pura Vida, Verde, Terroir [BOL] and Lorraine coffees come from Max Havelaar Fairtrade certified cooperatives. The Max Havelaar Fairtrade label stands for products that are fairly traded and produced according to strict social and ecological criteria. These include long-term trading relationships, a minimum price and a Fairtrade premium. The Fairtrade premiums are used by the cooperatives to implement various projects that support the coffee farmers in a wide range of areas such as education, health and environmentally friendly cultivation. Thanks to the fair trade conditions, the farmers and workers can invest in a sustainable future, from which we all benefit.

Project Pulpa Pyro Peru

Blaser Trading supports the pyrolysis project in Peru, which was set up by the Ecocentre in Langenbruck BL. The waste "coffee pulp" (fruit pulp) produced during the washed processing is converted into a valuable mineral fertiliser using a pyrolysis process, which is then returned to the soil. This removes climate-damaging gases such as CO2 or methane from the atmosphere, remineralises and stabilises the soil and thus secures the livelihood of the coffee farmers in the long term. Blaser Trading is aware of the environmental impact of coffee cultivation and helps to promote sustainable production with this commitment.

Voluntary climate protection and energy efficiency

Blasercafé is committed to sustainable climate protection out of conviction. By voluntarily participating in the programme of the Energy Agency for Industry, we are committed to actively reducing CO2 emissions and optimising energy efficiency. The target agreement is recognised by the Confederation, the cantons and partners in the business community. Click here for the certificate.
